At least 2 children a day are diagnosed with a life threatening liver disease. Please jump for Children's Liver Disease Foundation to ensure that thousands of UK children and families affected receive vital information, support, and hope for the future, via our vital research funds and campaigning programmes, when they need it most.

Every day, at least two children in the UK are diagnosed with a childhood liver disease. There are over 100 different kinds of liver disease that can affect children - there is no cure, and the causes are largely unknown. Started by families, for families, Children's Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF) is a small, ambitious, national charity, which currently supports more than 4,000 families affected. This number grows exponentially as childhood liver diseases are life threatening, lifelong conditions.
CLDF's vision is that childhood liver diseases will be understood, prevented, and treated effectively ensuring that babies, children, young people and their families, achieve their full potential. We adopt a needs-led approach in developing innovative programmes to meet the needs of our children, young people and families. We work in four core areas: patient and family support, research, information and campaigning. Find out more at
