Jeremiah's Journey

Please jump for Jeremiah's Journey to enable us to support bereaved children and their families in Plymouth.

Jeremiah's Journey is a self-funded, registered charity that operates in Plymouth and the surrounding areas. It provides support and information to children and their families who are anticipating or have experienced the death of someone special. The main part of the support is offered to bereaved children and their families and consists of a short-term therapeutic group programme. The aim is promote healthy grieving and happy memories, the sessions use creative activities to enable the children to: express feelings of grief; share good and bad memories and to explore ways of coping. At the end of each programme we take all of the families for a day out to an adventure park.

A donation of £225 would fund one child to attend our group programme. This includes paying for the art materials used for the therapeutic activities e.g. a memory box, teddy bears to cuddle and a candle for each family. It will also help us fund the children's trip to Woodlands Leisure Park and the Christmas Party.
