Please jump for Lifeworks because we run a variety of unique and invaluable projects, dedicated to providing learning-disabled children and young adults with the confidence and life skills that encourage their inclusion in the community as valued and active members.
We have one simple aim- for children and young people with learning disabilities to fulfill their potential by providing them with new opportunities and skills that will lead to rewarding and active lives. We do this by working closely with children and young people and their families, putting their needs and ideas at the heart of what we do
We deliver a wide range of programmes, projects and services. With its Centre at Dartington Hall Estate in Devon, Lifeworks has built and runs a successful respite centre, Saturday youth clubs (Kool Clubs), after school education and training programmes (Life Skills Academy), residential homes for children (Robins) and young adults (Sesame), a Further Education College, surfing events (Breaking the Barrier) and many other events and projects.
Lifeworks is not a static charity, we are ever evolving and changing. We will always look at new projects that will bridge the gaps and support the needs of the young people we look after and the challenges they face.
