The Daisy Garland
There are 60,000 children in the UK with epilepsy, 18,000 of them suffer from drug resistant epilepsy. We try to help as many of these children as possible through the vital work that we do here at The Daisy Garland.
A family-run national children's charity providing active support for children with drug-resistant epilepsy and their families. The charity was set up in memory of our daughter Daisy who tragically died at 6 years of age from SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy patients). We fund specialist Daisy Garland Ketogenic Dietitians who work in NHS hospitals, successfully treating children with drug resistant epilepsy. We also fund night-time breathing monitors keeping children safe at night while they sleep.
