  • This is an opportunity to complete a solo parachute jump and put yourself in control of the skydive. You will have one day of training for the jump. You will make a solo parachute jump from 3,500 feet on the next jumping day. Your parachute will deploy (open) automatically as soon as you leave the aircraft and you will navigate yourself back to the dropzone for landing.

Please be aware that there are more restrictions than tandem skydives, for example maximum age 54, height/weight restriction but it is more fun!

Why jump for us?

ASSERT do not receive any funding to continue the excellent work we do supporting individuals and families who are affected by Angelman Syndrome. All trustees are volunteers and so all money raised goes directly to helping our members.

About Us

ASSERT is a small charity that help individuals and families who are affected by Angelman Syndrome (AS). AS is a rare chromosome disorder that affects around 1 in 17,500 individuals. ASSERT send out information packs to newly diagnosed families and professionals, produce a newsletter twice a year, organise regional meetings and a Biennial national conference and have a 24 hour support line. All trustees are volunteers. All funds raised go directly to supporting those affected by the syndrome.
