  • This is an opportunity to complete a solo parachute jump and put yourself in control of the skydive. You will have one day of training for the jump. You will make a solo parachute jump from 3,500 feet on the next jumping day. Your parachute will deploy (open) automatically as soon as you leave the aircraft and you will navigate yourself back to the dropzone for landing.

Please be aware that there are more restrictions than tandem skydives, for example maximum age 54, height/weight restriction but it is more fun!

Why jump for us?

Please jump for the Huntington's Disease Association because the Huntington's Disease Association (HDA) is a small but dynamic charity that relies heavily on the money raised from volunteers taking part in fundraising events. Funds raised for the charity are used to provide Regional Care Advisers (RCA's) who can visit and support families affected by this devastating condition. The RCA's work and train health care and social care providers , who, because of the rare nature of this illness, often have never come across it before.

The HDA would not be able to carry out the wonderful work it does without the support of our fantastic volunteers.

About Us

The Huntington's Disease Association is a registered charity which is a national Association committed to supporting families affected by Huntington's disease. The Association offers help, support and advice to families; striving to improve the understanding of HD and its implications to relevant decision makers and professionals in the caring field. Huntington's disease is a neurological disorder; it is a hereditary disease, which is caused by a faulty gene, each child of an affected parent, has a 50-50 chance of inheriting the gene.
