  • This is an opportunity to complete a solo parachute jump and put yourself in control of the skydive. You will have one day of training for the jump. You will make a solo parachute jump from 3,500 feet on the next jumping day. Your parachute will deploy (open) automatically as soon as you leave the aircraft and you will navigate yourself back to the dropzone for landing.

Please be aware that there are more restrictions than tandem skydives, for example maximum age 54, height/weight restriction but it is more fun!

Why jump for us?

We support the work of Liverpool Women beyond that available from the NHS by raising funds to enhance patient experience - benefiting local people and the community at large.

Our aim is to support the care given to patients and their families. Alongside that main aim we also help to fund research and staff welfare initiatives as well as providing greater access to training and development opportunities.

Even though at Liverpool Women's we are renowned for maternity services - not surprisingly with around 8,000 births a year - many people are unaware of the total breadth of activity that goes on behind our doors both within hospital and out in the community. Likewise, our charitable programmes fully support the entire range of patient services including gynaecology, maternity, neonatology, reproductive medicine and genetics.

About Us

Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Charitable Trust became a registered charity in June 1995. Today, 'The Kitty' is the name and character we are using to promote the work of Liverpool Women's Charity in the future.
