  • This is an opportunity to complete a solo parachute jump and put yourself in control of the skydive. You will have one day of training for the jump. You will make a solo parachute jump from 3,500 feet on the next jumping day. Your parachute will deploy (open) automatically as soon as you leave the aircraft and you will navigate yourself back to the dropzone for landing.

Please be aware that there are more restrictions than tandem skydives, for example maximum age 54, height/weight restriction but it is more fun!

Why jump for us?

"Wings for Life have the power to rebuild people. Living with a spinal cord injury isn't pleasant on a daily basis. I've seen the research currently undergoing through Wings for Life projects and believe they have the ability to make daily living more bearable for those with a spinal cord injury." - Sean Rose, Wings for Life Ambassador and former paralympian.
The work of Wings for life relies completely on private donations - your support is vital to allow our projects to go ahead and help those with spinal cord injury to re-live the life they once knew. Jump for Wings for Life and join us in our quest to make a life changing difference.

About Us

Wings for Life's mission is to find a cure for spinal cord injury.
Every eight hours someone in the UK sustains a spinal cord injury and most become wheelchair users as a result. Spinal cord injury affects people of all ages and backgrounds and is most commonly caused through road traffic accidents, falls, illness or sports. Spinal cord injury happens in a moment, but the impact lasts a lifetime. After an injury most people live through months if not years of rehabilitative therapy. There is currently no medical treatment available to repair the injured spinal cord. But, scientists agree unanimously: injured nerve cells in the spinal cord are capable of regeneration.
Wings for Life fund world class scientific research and clinical trials around the globe aimed at finding a cure for spinal cord injury. Their research focuses on how to minimise damage, stimulate repair and restore function after an injury to the spinal cord has been sustained.
Join Wings for Life and support us in achieving our goal.
