  • This is an opportunity to complete a solo parachute jump and put yourself in control of the skydive. You will have one day of training for the jump. You will make a solo parachute jump from 3,500 feet on the next jumping day. Your parachute will deploy (open) automatically as soon as you leave the aircraft and you will navigate yourself back to the dropzone for landing.

Please be aware that there are more restrictions than tandem skydives, for example maximum age 54, height/weight restriction but it is more fun!

Why jump for us?

Please jump for us to help the most disadvantaged members of society

About Us

We offer comfort, respite, advice and guidance to the most isolated, excluded and lonely people in society, we call our members. They have multiple problems, including homelessness. We operate 2 day centres in 2 of the 4 most deprived neighbourhoods in Lewisham, namely Deptford and Downham. Lewisham, is in the top 16% most deprived boroughs in England.

Our centres provide day time respite from life on the streets. We offer food, clothing, shower facilities and a laundry service. Where possible we find accommodation in hostels and assist in finding more permanent housing. We open a 35 bed night shelter every winter.

Our advice and advocacy workers give specialist help with debt management, housing and benefits, helping our often illiterate members through the minefield of bureaucracy, telephone calls and form filling. They prevent eviction and repossession.

We run a nursery in Deptford for 2-4 year old children from vulnerable families to prevent the damage we so often see in our adults.

We work with numerous partners. A general nurse visits twice a week, a podiatrist comes fortnightly and a mobile TB screening unit visits twice a year. We work with Mental Health workers and addiction teams and other homelessness agencies.
