  • This is an opportunity to complete a solo parachute jump and put yourself in control of the skydive. You will have one day of training for the jump. You will make a solo parachute jump from 3,500 feet on the next jumping day. Your parachute will deploy (open) automatically as soon as you leave the aircraft and you will navigate yourself back to the dropzone for landing.

Please be aware that there are more restrictions than tandem skydives, for example maximum age 54, height/weight restriction but it is more fun!

Why jump for us?

Please jump for North Wilts Holiday club for children with special needs because by challenging yourself and having fun you can give the gift of fun and laughter to some very special young people who face challenges every day.

About Us

'North Wilts Holiday Club for Children and Young People with Special Needs' is a charity providing support for families of children with special needs, who often miss out on the fun holiday activities enjoyed by most young people.

We are a comparatively small charity, with a committee mostly made up of parents who already have huge demands on their time and energy.

What we do:

We run daytime activity sessions and outings for local young disabled people aged 4 years-young adults during the long summer holidays. All of our members have learning disabilities and most also have physical disabilities and/or emotional/ behavioural problems. Some are severely and profoundly disabled, some have life limiting disorders. Their recreational opportunities are extremely limited by their high individual support needs. We offer a 1:1 staff ratio to enable our members to be supported in their chosen activities.
