  • This is an opportunity to complete a solo parachute jump and put yourself in control of the skydive. You will have one day of training for the jump. You will make a solo parachute jump from 3,500 feet on the next jumping day. Your parachute will deploy (open) automatically as soon as you leave the aircraft and you will navigate yourself back to the dropzone for landing.

Please be aware that there are more restrictions than tandem skydives, for example maximum age 54, height/weight restriction but it is more fun!

Why jump for us?

St Michael's Hospice provides free of charge care to patients and their families with life limiting illnesses.

About Us

St Michael's cares for 1400 patients each year from Herefordshire and the immediate surrounding counties.
We support the whole family, not just the patient - our Family Support team works closely with the patient's whole family to provide whatever support is needed.
We are a truly local charity - this means that every penny raised by our local community stays locally to help the people of Herefordshire and it's borders.
We don't charge anything for our services - our care is completely free of charge for everyone who receives it.
It costs around £14,000 a day to keep our doors open - this comes to £4.6 million each year.
Only a tenth of our funding comes from government sources - less than many other hospices in the country.
