  • This is an opportunity to complete a solo parachute jump and put yourself in control of the skydive. You will have one day of training for the jump. You will make a solo parachute jump from 3,500 feet on the next jumping day. Your parachute will deploy (open) automatically as soon as you leave the aircraft and you will navigate yourself back to the dropzone for landing.

Please be aware that there are more restrictions than tandem skydives, for example maximum age 54, height/weight restriction but it is more fun!

Why jump for us?

Please jump for STARS so that we can continue to support individuals with syncope and RAS.

About Us

STARS, or Syncope Trust And Reflex anoxic Seizures, aims to ensure that anyone presenting with unexplained loss of consciousness receives the correct diagnosis, the appropriate treatment, informed support and sign posting to the appropriate medical professional. Syncope or blackouts can affect people of all ages, and are caused by a problem with the heart or by a problem in the regulation of blood pressure. It affects 50% of the population, including 225,000 children in the UK. The emotional effects of living with the condition, particularly for children, can be very distressing.

STARS offers information and advice to help manage symptoms and regain quality of life. This is achieved through our 24 hour helpline which offers advice and support to patients, carers and medical professionals. In addition STARS develops resources alongside medical experts and approved by the Department of Health.
