  • This is an opportunity to complete a solo parachute jump and put yourself in control of the skydive. You will have one day of training for the jump. You will make a solo parachute jump from 3,500 feet on the next jumping day. Your parachute will deploy (open) automatically as soon as you leave the aircraft and you will navigate yourself back to the dropzone for landing.

Please be aware that there are more restrictions than tandem skydives, for example maximum age 54, height/weight restriction but it is more fun!

Why jump for us?

Jumping for CHECT will help us to save eyes and lives of children around the UK affected by the eye cancer retinoblastoma. Through this skydive you will not only be supporting us but also get the chance to achieve a life changing experience.

About Us

The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust has been a registered charity since 1987. Based in London we work across the UK in our fight against retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer that affects children under the age of five.

Our priorities are providing information and support to individuals and families whose lives have been devastated by this disease as well as working hard to increase awareness about this rare eye cancer to ensure it is diagnosed quickly and treatment can start as soon as possible. We also provide funding for research and work alongside other services to ensure those affected by Rb receive the best possible care.

The charity receives no government funding and relies on its families, members and their friends who raise funds through challenge events such as this. Your participation in this skydive will make a real difference in helping to save children's eyes sight and lives.
