  • This is an opportunity to complete a solo parachute jump and put yourself in control of the skydive. You will have one day of training for the jump. You will make a solo parachute jump from 3,500 feet on the next jumping day. Your parachute will deploy (open) automatically as soon as you leave the aircraft and you will navigate yourself back to the dropzone for landing.

Please be aware that there are more restrictions than tandem skydives, for example maximum age 54, height/weight restriction but it is more fun!

About Us

ARC Animal Rescue celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2012. Originally started by Mrs Shrimpton and Miss Topsy Hindley the official title is Sidmouth Animal Welfare and Animal Rescue Circle.

Our constitution is to provide rescue, relief and re-homing to lost, unwanted and abandoned domestic animals in the area. Some 40 years later Miss Hindley remains the charity's trustee and continues to be the driving force behind the charity and an inspiration to all.

In 2011 ARC Helped re-home over 135 animals and provided assistance and advice for countless others besides. Although ARC mainly re-homes dogs we have many contacts involved with other domestic animals. ARC is funded entirely by generous bequests, gifts, contributions and volunteer fundraising events.
