Learn more about AFF Skydiving

Q. What training do I require before i'm ready for my first jump?
A. You are required to receive a minimum of 6 hours ground tuition with an AFF instructor which is divided into a structured lesson plan.
Q. How many jumps before I qualify?
A. In the UK, you must pass 8 levels. However you may be required to repeat a level to meet certain criteria. When choosing where to do the AFF course, we offer the best value. Most parachute centers will only jump from 10,000 feet, we jump from 15,000 above sea level. This means you're getting extra free fall time to help you qualify.
Q. Do I need to buy my own equipment?
A. The fees payable for each AFF level include the cost of equipment hire. However most people will buy their own equipment when qualified. We can provide and advise on second hand or new equipment.
Q. How long will it take to complete the 8 levels?
A. Weather permitting, 3 days!! However some people will budget to complete the AFF levels over a few weeks. Jumping regularly will aid your progression.
Q. Is AFF the same as Static Line?
A. Both AFF and Static Line are designed to teach people to become a qualified skydiver. We at Skydive UK Ltd only offer ADD as the Static Line is a less progressive method.
